Biography

William “Liam” Robinson, MRC, CRC, CVE, CMCPS, is a vocational analyst with Vocational Economics, Inc. He provides expert vocational analysis and testimony specific to earning capacity and worklife expectancy in cases involving permanent disability, loss of employment, and death. In addition, Mr. Robinson prepares medical cost assessments that evaluate the reasonable and customary costs of future medical care based on medical records, treatment recommendations, and accepted pricing resources.

Mr. Robinson received a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Vocational Expert, and Certified Medical Cost Projection Specialist. He also serves as a vocational expert for the US Department of Health and Human Services, Social Security Administration, Office of Hearings Operations. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tampa, where he earned a degree in Finance.

Mr. Robinson joined VEI in 2016, where he served as a case manager for three of VEI’s senior analysts, David Gibson, Enrique Vega, and Anthony Gamboa, Jr. He has analyzed hundreds of cases nationwide pertaining to the reduction of worklife expectancy and earning capacity for individuals who sustained a permanent partial or total disability, with experience in orthopedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and cases involving children and adolescents.

Mr. Robinson works in collaboration with VEI’s senior life care planner, Laura Lampton, to provide medical costing analyses associated with future medical care recommendations and is equipped to prepare medical cost projections that evaluate the anticipated costs of medical treatment over an individual’s remaining life expectancy.
